 Aims
With the goal of promoting academic/research activities related to clinical
pharmaceutical sciences, the Division of Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences,
Pharmaceutical Society of Japan provides opportunities for its members,
who conduct research and apply research outcomes in the fields of related
basic science, drug development, and clinical application, to present their
studies, share knowledge, and collaborate with other members, as well as
related associations in- and outside Japan. It also aims to contribute
to disease treatment, health maintenance, and higher-quality medical services
by advancing and disseminating academic activities related to clinical
pharmaceutical sciences, improving/strengthening research bases, and promoting

Activities
To achieve its aims, the Division performs the following activities (extracted from the Agreement: Japanese page)
- Holding Pharmaceutical Society of Japan / Clinical Pharmaceutical Science Forums
- olding Young Investigator Symposiums on Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Nurturing high-quality clinical pharmacy students and young researchers/pharmacists
- Training and certifying highly specialized pharmacists
- Collecting and awarding research papers on clinical pharmaceutical practice
- Holding forums for citizens
- Collecting and disseminating information regarding clinical pharmaceutical
sciences
- Collaborating and communicating with associations related to clinical
pharmaceutical sciences in- and outside Japan
- Holding general division meetings in accordance with annual meetings of the Pharmaceutical Society
- Sharing news about the Division and establishing its website
- Conducting surveys on pharmacy-related medical fee revisions and scientific
evaluation
- Other activities considered necessary to achieve its aims.
